Kit Foxes are native to North America. They live in semi-desert shrub lands in many South-Western states, including Colorado, California, Texas, and Oklahoma, and they also live in central Mexico.

Kit Foxes are mostly nocturnal, and they usually hunt shortly after sunset.
They eat small animals like kangaroo rats, cotton tails, field mice, jackrabbits, insects, fish, and small birds.
